Founded in December 2013, Ampelos International Consultancy (Pvt) Ltd provides research, consulting and training services in toxicology (including health based exposure limits [HBEL], preparation of permitted daily exposure [PDE] monographs, risk assessments), pharmaceutical sciences (development of herbal products and preparation of dossiers for regulatory submissions, pharmacovigilance), and environmental management (including Environmental Impact Assessments, Climate Change mitigation).
The name Ampelos is a transliteration of the Koine
Greek word for Vine and just like a grapevine we see ourselves as an ever-growing
enterprise that never fails to produce fruit for its clients. As a business, we
strive to meet our clients’ needs in the most efficient and professional way in
areas of our expertise. Ampelos currently has access to a pool of highly
qualified and skilled consultants who produce quality work to the satisfaction
of our clients. Consultants in the organisation have done work at national,
regional and international level for several notable organisations including
the World Health Organisation (WHO), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA)
and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
